The Excavation of Hob's Barrow - Switch

Bateman is writing a book on the barrows of England, documenting
the treasures she finds buried within. When an intriguing letter
summons her to the small village of Bewlay, tucked away in the
remote countryside, she sets off by train with her assistant a day
behind. Upon her arrival, however, the mysterious man who
summoned her is nowhere to be found. Her assistant never arrives. A
stubborn landowner refuses access to the barrow, and the locals are
wary of this woman who is traveling alone and (gasp!) wears trousers.
The excavation of Hob’s Barrow is off to a rocky start. And then
Thomasina starts having strange dreams…

elements from real English folklore. Traditional point and click
adventure game puzzles and interactions, with an easy modern
interface.
• A cast of intriguing characters, from suspicious villagers to sickly
vicars to lordly landowners, all with their own unique stories and
motives. A distinct folk horror tone and grounding.
• Evocative pixel-art graphics, featuring cut-scenes and engaging
animations. A suitably atmospheric original soundtrack from The
Machine. The Demon. - one half of the duo behind the award-winning
"Football Game" soundtrack.
• English voice and text.
• Fiends in the furrows, the smell of damp soil, and a cat or two.

Item Variation Descriptions:

• CIB - "Complete In Box"
  
  • This means the item has the original manual, cover art/box art, and game disc/cartridge*. May OR may not include inserts (Registration cards, warnings, etc..) 
  • *Many more modern games do not include manuals and it is too difficult to assess which ones did and did not come with them upon release. Because of this any PS3, Xbox 360, Wii U, 3DS, PS Vita, PS4, Xbox One, Switch, PS5, and Xbox Series games will be labeled and sold as "CIB" if they have at-least their original cover art and game disc/cartridge.

• Disc/Cartridge Only
  • This means the item is just the game itself, and is a great budget choice for non-collectors who just want to play the game. If it is a cartridge title then it will ship as just the cartridge; however, if it is a disc based title we will ship it in a premium custom case with art so you can still properly store it and keep it safe from damage in style.

• New/Sealed
  • This means the item is in its original factory seal and remains unopened and/or unplayed.

At Pixel Junkie, we take pride in and thoroughly clean and test all of our inventory. This means scratched discs are buffed/resurfaced, cases are cleaned and sanitized, and consoles are cleaned, reset, and even completely refurbished if we deem it necessary. All items in our inventory are to be considered in "good" working condition if pre-owned. The item may include minor cosmetic flaws, light scratches, etc..

However, If for any reason an item purchased is found to be defective, it may be exchanged for a replacement (identical item) if we are notified of the defect within 7 days of you receiving the product. If an identical item is not available, then store credit will be issued. We do not offer refunds, but we will absolutely be here to help you resolve any issues!
